Biography
Adrián Caldart is a Senior Lecturer of Strategic Management and the Academic Director of the Food & Beverage Industry Meetings at IESE Business School (Barcelona, Madrid, New York, Munich and São Paulo). He is also Professor of Strategic Management at AESE Business School (Lisbon and Porto, Portugal), where he is also Director of the Business Policy Academic Area and President of the Academic Council and of the EMBA Committee.
Prof. Caldart has formerly been Associate Professor of Strategic Management at Warwick Business School (Coventry, United Kingdom). He has been visiting professor in business schools in Spain, Argentina, Perú, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Nigeria, Ghana and Angola. His research interests include Corporate-level Strategy, International Strategy and The Work of the CEO, fields in which he has published several peer reviewed and managerial articles, book chapters and teaching materials, including over 20 teaching case studies.
He co-authored the book “The Dynamics of Strategy. Mastering Strategic Landscapes of the firm” (w/D. Robertson; Oxford University Press) and co-edited the book “General Management in Latin and Iberoamerican Organizations. A Humanistic Perspective” (Routledge). Adrian is also a business consultant in Strategic Planning and Organizational Design, and has worked as an executive in Corporate Finance and Strategic Planning in the Energy sector in Argentina.
Education
Prof. Caldart holds a PhD in Management from IESE Business School, a Msc. in Economics and Management from ESADE (Argentina) and is BA in Management and in Accounting (Universidad Católica Argentina).
