Food Industry Management Program
Program Description
The Food Industry Management Program (FIMP) is widely recognized as the premier food education and research program in the United States. It offers Cornell University degrees at the bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. levels, as well as several professional degrees and certificate programs. All of our students enjoy access to leading-edge theory as well as real-world business, marketing, and management techniques. An active research program is also an integral part of the FIMP. Our research focuses on high-priority issues facing the food industry, and it is generally carried out in partnership with trade associations, individual companies, or governmental agencies. A hallmark of the Cornell FIMP is the close working relationship that it maintains with food industry companies and their executives. Each year dozens of training programs are conducted for food industry managers both on the campus and around the world, including the highly regarded Food Executive Program.
