Karen has more than 20 years of experience with applied research about agri-food markets, value chains, and business development strategies. Karen has worked with clients in industry and NGOs, and collaborated with researchers across Europe. Karen participates in EU funded projects as partner or sub-contractor, takes on evaluations and case studies, and facilitates networks, workshops and business delegations. Karen has experience from FP6, FP7 and H2020 projects.
Karen holds a Masters’ Degree from the Agricultural University of Copenhagen (Denmark).Karen has carried out research about all subsectors of the agri-food industry, for B2B and B2C markets in local, European and international perspectives, as well as performing applied research about non-food topics such as packaging materials, pet food and bioenergy.
